David J. Braun Associate
David J. Braun graduated from the University of Illinois College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, with a degree in Political Science (2004), and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Southern Illinois University, School of Law (2007). Prior to admission to the Illinois Bar he worked as a law clerk at Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, Ltd. (2005-2007).
David is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Illinois Council of School Attorneys, and the National School Board Association Council of School Attorneys. He focuses his practice in the area of school law. In addition to In-services and other regular speaking engagements, David is experienced in speaking at roundtables, Illinois Association of School Boards' Division Meetings and other Workshops, Illinois Association of School Administrators' Workshops, Academies, and Conferences, Illinois Principals' Association Annual Conferences, and Illinois Association of Athletic Directors' Conferences.
David served on the Education Law Council of the Illinois State Bar Association from 2008-2011 and was Assistant Editor of the section council's newsletter from 2009-2010.
